We were so broken when we showed up here. We were also very nervous because we knew nothing about this place. God took that fear away quickly after meeting our amazing hosts Jay & Nancy. Their stillness, kindness and BIG LOVE was genuine and eased me.
We had been in group settings before and knew what a blessing it is to hear other people’s stories. If you’ve never done a group before, I pray you don’t hold anything back. God moves mountains here.
We had Ryan & Dan lead our group and prepare us for the most valuable tools and plan to have productive, SAFE conversations together. God’s love poured out of everyone here.

This journey has been tiring in all the right places. As we continued on the working and re-working was what I needed in order to not gloss over the material. Hearing that I need to work on my yard took a few tries of seeing how I would always run back to my wife’s. I pray any couple going through this can take a step back and analyze how they receive and see where they are coming from and see it from their spouse’s perspective to learn empathy and how to launch their marriage forward for the future.

I almost did not make it here. Last Friday, my husband was not going to go with me. By the grace of God, we arrived on Sunday. We were completely broken, and divorce papers had been filed. God kept speaking to my heart even though the papers had been filed and urged me to keep praying and pressing into Him.
I packed my bag to come here as an act of faith and obedience to Him. It really was a miracle in itself that we made it here. We were both very apprehensive on Monday. I could not see where this was going, and it was difficult to be open at first.
As the week went on, it became easier in this safe environment that was a judge-free zone. Being part of a group was the best thing for us. The other couples were encouraging as we heard their stories, and I personally could see God working in their marriages as well as ours.
We did receive a miracle in our marriage. For the first time, it’s like my eyes have been opened to the way God sees us. The tools that we have been given are just so incredible. I am not sure how anyone does marriage without them.
Trust this process. It may feel like you are still uncertain even on Wednesday, but THURSDAY! Hang in there!
God has given us the greatest miracle and really has restored our hope. Thank you to the counselors and staff and Bob & Jeannie. This has been a blessing! You all have servants’ hearts! God bless.

Welcome to the fork in the road. I’m sure you are feeling many emotions coming in and I encourage you to not run from them, but to allow God to be right there with you. God has truly worked a miracle here in me and my husband’s marriage. The tools we’ve gained are invaluable. I am beyond grateful to have been able to step into this atmosphere. God will provide exactly what you need if you let Him. Remember to keep praying and looking to the Father throughout this entire process and beyond. I am looking forward to the new year and how God will continue to guide us forward.
